Traveling by car

The Kaplan Mitchell Retreat Center is 2 hours and 15 minutes from Atlanta, GA and 2 hours and 45 minutes from Chattanooga, TN. We encourage those choosing to drive themselves for either the weekend or the day to download the directions in advance as the campground is remotely located. There is plenty parking available on site.

Traveling by plane

We encourage those flying in for the weekend’s festivities to choose Atlanta airport as your destination and join us on the camp bus leaving on Friday at 2 pm.

Traveling by camp bus (Preferred Method)

We have arranged to have a camp bus depart from Atlanta on Friday, August 23rd for our friends and family flying into Atlanta (departing from the Atlanta Airport at 1:30 pm) or traveling from Atlanta (departing from the Lindbergh Center Transit Station at 2:30 pm). We anticipate the bus returning to Atlanta at approximately 3pm on Sunday. Please note on your RSVP if you plan to join us and we’ll be sure to save you a seat!

Accommodations

For those joining us for the weekend, we’d love to have you stay with us at the venue. We promise there will be no shortage of good fun and good food.

While we imagine most of our guests will be more comfortable in one of the private hotel rooms on-site, we have also reserved bunk houses for those looking to have the authentic camp experience.

Hotel Rooms

All hotel rooms have a private bathroom, keurig, table and two chairs, heating and air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, and bed and bath linens. Some connecting rooms are available upon request.

Bunk Houses

Each bunkroom can sleep up to 10, has a private bathroom area with walk-in shower(s), and will include bed linens. Please indicate any friends you’d like to be grouped with when reserving!
